Privacy Policy Horror Escape Apartment
Privacy Policy – Horror Escape Apartment
Effective date: October 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BugraX ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you play Horror Escape Apartment (the "Game") on Android. By using the Game you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Summary
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number or precise location.
Your game progress (save tapes, credits, equipment, upgrades, case files, settings and achievements) is stored on your device. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, a copy of your progress is also kept in your Google account (Play Games Saved Games), so it can be restored after reinstalling or on a new phone.
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob and sells optional in-app purchases through Google Play. These Google services collect some device data, as described below.
We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information stored on your device
The Game saves the following data locally on your device so that your progress is kept between sessions:
your save tapes: credits, experience level, equipment, upgrades, chosen character, contracts, case files, evidence and shift history;
achievement progress and today's bonus-ad count;
settings such as language, graphics quality, sound and vibration;
a record of completed purchases (for example "Remove Ads"), so that purchased items stay active.
This data does not leave your device through us and we cannot access it. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its app data deletes the copy on your device. Settings such as graphics quality and language are never uploaded.
3. Information collected by third-party services
The Game uses the following third-party services. Each one collects and processes data under its own privacy policy.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The Game shows rewarded ads (only when you choose to watch one) and interstitial ads in the menus between shifts, never during a shift. To deliver, measure and limit ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect:
the Android Advertising ID and other device identifiers;
device information such as model, operating system version, language and screen size;
an approximate location derived from your IP address;
ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown or tapped;
diagnostic and performance data.
Depending on your consent choice and region, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your payment card details. Google provides us with a purchase confirmation (such as an order or transaction ID and the product purchased) so that we can deliver the item and restore it on reinstall.

Google Play Games Services (achievements and cloud save)
If Google Play Games is available and you are signed in, the Game reports unlocked achievements to your Google Play Games profile and saves a copy of your game progress (save tapes, credits, experience, equipment, upgrades, case files, achievements and purchased items) with Play Games Saved Games. This copy is stored by Google in your Google account; we do not have access to it. Google may process your Play Games profile and gameplay data. You can manage your Play Games profile, and delete the Game's saved data, in the Google Play Games app or your Google account settings.

Unity (game engine)
The Game is built with the Unity engine. Unity may collect limited technical information, such as device model, operating system and crash or performance data, to keep the engine working correctly.

4. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before personalized ads are shown. You can:
accept, reject or manage your choices on the consent form;
change your choice later from the privacy options the Game provides (when required in your region), or by clearing the Game's app data and choosing again on the next start.
If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.
5. Your choices
Ads personalization: Go to Android Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device). There you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization.
Removing ads: The optional "Remove Ads" purchase turns off interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain optional.
Deleting your data: Uninstall the Game or clear its app data in Android Settings → Apps → Horror Escape Apartment → Storage. Data held by Google is managed through your Google account settings.
Your rights: Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we do not hold personal data about you on our own servers, most such requests are best directed to the third-party services listed above. You can still contact us at any time and we will help.
6. Data deletion requests
This section explains how to delete the data of Horror Escape Apartment by developer BugraX. The Game has no accounts of its own and we do not keep your data on our servers, so you can delete everything yourself:
Game progress on your device: Android Settings → Apps → Horror Escape Apartment → Storage → Clear data (or uninstall the Game). This deletes your save tapes, credits, equipment, upgrades, case files, achievements progress, purchase record and settings at once.
Cloud save copy: open the Google Play Games app → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, and choose to delete the data for Horror Escape Apartment only (or your whole Play Games profile). This removes the Saved Games copy and the achievements stored in your Google account.
Advertising data: Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID. Data that Google AdMob keeps is handled under Google's privacy policy and retention periods.
Ask us: email bugra.komsuoglu@gmail.com with the subject "Horror Escape Apartment – data deletion" and we will help you with the steps above within 30 days.
What is deleted and what is kept: steps 1 and 2 delete all of your game data immediately and completely; we keep nothing. Records of completed Google Play purchases are kept by Google for its legal and accounting duties (they let you restore "Remove Ads" on a new install) and can be managed in your Google account. Data collected by Google AdMob is kept by Google according to its own retention policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention).
7. Children's privacy
The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. Data security and retention
We do not operate servers that store your data. Local game data stays on your device until you delete it; the cloud copy stays in your Google account until you delete it there. Third-party services keep data according to their own retention policies, which are linked above.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when the Game adds new features or services. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Game after an update means you accept the revised policy.
