PRIVACY POLICY FOR SLOVIKA

Slovika (package name: com.slovika) is a Russian-language learning, dictionary, and quiz application developed by BugraX ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Slovika, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.


1. SUMMARY


No account is required. Dictionary content, quiz activity, learning progress, settings, and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device. Slovika does not sell personal information. The microphone is used only after you choose to start voice search. Slovika uses Google Mobile Ads, and Google and its partners may process device, advertising, interaction, diagnostic, and network information.


2. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY


Slovika may store quiz results, learning progress, earned rewards, app language, preferences, reminder settings, scheduled study times, and downloaded translation models on your device. This information is used to provide app features and personalize your learning experience. It is not transmitted to BugraX. You can delete it by clearing Slovika's app data in your device settings or uninstalling the app.


3. VOICE SEARCH AND MICROPHONE ACCESS


Voice search is optional. Slovika requests microphone permission only when you activate voice search. Audio is passed to the speech-recognition service available on your device to convert speech into text. Depending on your device, settings, operating system, and selected service, recognition may occur on the device or audio and related data may be sent to a provider such as Google for processing.


Slovika uses recognized text only to perform your requested dictionary search. BugraX does not independently record, store, or receive your voice audio. Processing by the speech-service provider is governed by its privacy policy and your device settings. You may deny or withdraw microphone permission at any time; typed search will remain available.


4. TRANSLATION AND TEXT-TO-SPEECH


Slovika uses Google ML Kit language models for supported translations. Required models may be downloaded from Google to your device. Once available, translation is performed on the device. Model downloads may expose ordinary network information, such as your IP address and connection information, to Google.


Pronunciation playback uses the text-to-speech engine installed or selected on your device. That provider may process text under its own privacy policy and your device settings. BugraX does not independently receive or store pronunciation text or audio.


5. NOTIFICATIONS


If you enable optional study reminders, Slovika requests notification permission and schedules notifications on your device. Reminder times and learning information remain local and are not sent to BugraX. You can disable reminders in Slovika or revoke notification permission in device settings.


6. ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY PROCESSING


Slovika uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to show banner advertisements, interstitial advertisements at natural transitions, and optional rewarded advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or share IP address (which may estimate general location), device and account identifiers (including Android advertising ID and app set ID where available), app and ad interactions (such as launches, taps, impressions, and video views), and diagnostic or performance information (such as crash-related data, launch time, hang rate, and energy usage).


This information may be processed for advertising, ad delivery and measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Google states that data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. BugraX may receive aggregated advertising and performance reports but does not use Slovika to create user accounts or directly collect names, postal addresses, contact lists, photographs, or precise GPS location.


Where required by law, Slovika displays Google's consent message before requesting advertisements and provides advertising privacy choices. Depending on consent, settings, region, and law, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and manage ad privacy controls through Android or Google settings.

7. INTERNET ACCESS


Internet access is used for advertisements, consent management, speech recognition when the device service requires a connection, and translation-model downloads. The primary dictionary and quiz content is bundled with the app and can be used locally, subject to individual feature requirements.


8. DATA SHARING


BugraX does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed or shared by the third-party providers described above, particularly Google and its advertising partners, to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, security, or prevent fraud.


9. RETENTION AND DELETION


Local learning data and preferences remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall Slovika. Downloaded models may remain until removed by the app, operating system, or uninstallation. Information processed by Google or another device-service provider is retained under that provider's policies and settings.


You may contact us for assistance concerning data controlled by BugraX. Because Slovika requires no account and BugraX does not receive locally stored learning data, we may have no server-side record that can be associated with you or deleted.


10. SECURITY


We use reasonable measures appropriate to Slovika's local-first design and rely on platform security controls. Network data handled by third-party SDKs is subject to those providers' practices. No electronic processing or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.


11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY


Slovika is a general language-learning application and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. It provides no user accounts and does not ask users to submit names, email addresses, or direct contact information. Advertising and consent handling may vary according to age settings, region, and applicable requirements. If you believe a child provided personal information directly to BugraX, contact us so we can investigate and act appropriately.


12. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING


Google and other providers may process information on servers outside your country. Their processing is governed by their privacy policies and applicable data-protection safeguards.


13. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS


Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. You can control many activities by revoking microphone or notification permissions, changing available advertising privacy choices, managing Android or Google advertising settings, clearing Slovika's data, or uninstalling the app.


Contact us to exercise applicable rights concerning information controlled by BugraX. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.


14. THIRD-PARTY LINKS


Slovika may link to content sources, licenses, or third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices or content. Review their privacy notices before providing information.


15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY


We may update this policy to reflect changes to Slovika, third-party services, or legal requirements. The revised policy will show a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated within the app or store listing where appropriate.
