1. Scope
This policy explains how GED Practice Test, published under the Android package name com.gedprac, handles information.
2. Information stored on the device
The app stores lesson progress, submitted answers, mistakes, favorites, study plans, study streaks, and app settings locally on the user's device. This learning information is not sent to a server operated by the developer. The app does not require an account and does not ask for a name, phone number, or email address.
If Android backup is enabled, local app data may be processed by Android backup services according to the user's device and Google account settings. Users can remove local learning data with the relevant reset controls in the app or by uninstalling the app.
3. Advertising and third-party services
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner ads and an interstitial ad that may appear after a completed test and before its answer sheet. Depending on the user's region, device settings, and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device or app identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostic data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, measurement, and reporting.
Where required, the Google User Messaging Platform asks for consent or advertising preferences. Available choices can be reviewed again under Settings > Advertising privacy in the app.

5. Sharing and retention
Local learning information is not shared with the developer or the advertising provider. Information processed by the advertising service is subject to the retention and deletion practices of Google and the applicable advertising partners.
6. Children's privacy
The app is a high-school equivalency study tool and is not designed specifically for children. The developer does not knowingly request names, contact details, or account information from children.
7. Independence and trademark notice
GED Practice Test is an independent educational study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GED Testing Service, an education authority, a government agency, or an official testing organization. GED is a trademark of its respective owner. Questions are original study material and do not guarantee a passing result.
